Each day, 3,000 teens start smoking. During their lifetime 30 will be murdered, 60 will die in traffic accidents, and 1000 will be killed by a smoking-related disease.

Welcome to the homepage for the Suffolk Youth Partnership. We've been revamping our style for the past several months, but as you can see, we're back in full force and ready to roll.

The Suffolk Youth Partnership is an interagency program that is committed to giving community members the right to live, learn, work, and play in a smoke free environment, and to protecting our youth from the constant manipulations of the tobacco industry.

By clicking on the links above, you can find out all about us, what we're currently involved in, and how to join the Partnership. You can also learn about our several locations that conveniently service all areas of the Town of Babylon. While browsing, additional relevant information may appear in a column to the left, while applicable links to media files may appear within a column to the right, as on this page.

We are pleased to announce the passing of the "50 Foot Door Ban" in Suffolk County, which prohibits smoking within 50 feet of the entrance of a smoke-free building. We are currently working on smoke-free bowling alleys, and a ban on all tobacco vending machines.

Thank you for visiting our website, and enjoy!

The Suffolk Youth Partnership for Health is a non-profit organization and receives all of its funding through grants and donations. For further information please contact us.
